Aug. 2022: I was awarded a CCI CVN Innovation and Commercialization Grant to develop our FL platform.
Aug. 2022: Our research group participated in two outreach programs over the summer.
We hosted the Starr Hill Pathways Program students, who are rising 7th graders through high school in the Charlottesville area, for lab tours that was featured in UVA Today.
UVA SEAS Center for Diversity in Engineering organized the Summer Bridge Program, in which we presented machine learning, communications, and security to the participating students. See story.

July 2020: Our position paper Machine learning for clinical trials in the era of COVID-19 has been accepted to Statistics in Biopharmaceutical Research. It is a joint work with UCLA, University of Cambridge, AstraZeneca, and Novartis.
June 2020: Our paper, Learning for Dose Allocation in Adaptive Clinical Trials with Safety Constraints, has been accepted to the 37th International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2020). It is a joint work with Z. Wang (Penn), S. Villa (Cambridge), and M. van der Schaar (Cambridge & UCLA).
